Press the Power Button or the Test Button. After showing of full screen, the last recorded temperature memory will be present. Wait for screen to change until the ear mark appear. The thermometer is now ready for a new measurement. If there is an abnormal, the Er1 or Er2 appears. |

Place the probe snugly into the ear canal. Press the Test Button. A long beep will sound approximately 2 seconds after the Test Button is activated. This signals the end of the process as results are displayed on the LCD screen. |

The thermometer is ready for testing again once an ear mark displays on the LCD. A waiting period of 20 seconds between testing is recommended to ensure complete accuracy. |

To prolong battery life, press the Power Button to turn unit off after testing is complete. If no action is taken, the unit will automatically shut off after around 1 minutes.
Store the thermometer in its protective case. |
